The BIO2CARE Project of PTF was finalized

On December 19, 2020, the project with the participation of Pirin Tourist Forum entitled Reinforcing protected areas capacity through an innovative methodology for sustainability, with the acronym BIO2CARE, was finalized. The project was funded by the INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 and included a total of eight partners – four from Greece and four from Bulgaria. Pirin Tourism Forum was the responsible partner for the visualization and publicity activities of the project and performed supporting functions in conducting research in the protected areas of the project (National Parks of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in Greece and Rila in Bulgaria), as well as in developing and testing different methodologies and systems for better management of these territories. All planned activities were successfully completed.
